Quotes & booking
From first enquiry to choosing your shade.
01How do I get a price for my vehicle?
Use our vehicle quote form and tell us the year, make, model and body style. We’ll email a tailored quotation covering the tinting options suitable for your car.
02Can I book online?
Yes. Once you have your quotation, use the live availability link to choose your tint option or options and book a suitable appointment. No payment is taken when you book; payment is made on the day unless a payment plan has been arranged.
03How far ahead can I book?
Our online calendar normally shows appointments up to 30 days ahead. If the date you need is not shown, contact us and we’ll check what may be possible.
04Do you offer mobile window tinting?
No. All installations are completed inside our dedicated workshop near Horsham. The controlled indoor environment helps protect the finish from wind, rain and airborne dust.
05Can I choose the tint shade on the day?
Yes. For rear glass we normally demonstrate four shades: 5% privacy, 15% sporty, 20% OEM-style and 40% subtle. You can see the options properly on the day before making your final choice.
06How long does window tinting take?
Most single-option appointments take our team around one hour while you wait. Bookings that combine several tinting options require longer, and your booking confirmation will reserve the appropriate time.
07Can I wait while the work is completed?
Yes. We have an indoor waiting area for one person with TV, hot drinks and free Wi-Fi, plus outdoor seating for two. In poor weather, please limit indoor waiting to one person.
Legal & performance
Light transmission, chameleon film, heat and UV.
08Is vehicle window tinting legal in the UK?
Yes. For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the minimum light transmission is 75% for the windscreen and 70% for front side windows. Older vehicles require at least 70% through both. Rear passenger windows and the rear windscreen have no tint-percentage limit.
09How do you check whether front glass will remain legal?
We use a professional VLT meter to measure the vehicle’s glass before fitting. We only proceed where the finished result can remain within the legal limit, and front-glass work is checked again after installation.
10Is chameleon windscreen film legal?
It can be, but the film’s advertised VLT is not enough on its own. We measure your windscreen, shortlist suitable films, test samples on the actual glass and only fit an option that produces a final combined reading of at least 75% VLT. You leave with written proof of the final reading.
11What does VLT mean?
VLT means Visible Light Transmission: the percentage of visible light that passes through the glass and film together. A higher percentage is lighter; a lower percentage is darker.
12How many chameleon colours can I choose from?
We keep 26 chameleon films in stock. Because the vehicle’s original windscreen already blocks some light, the legal shortlist varies from car to car. We test suitable favourites on your windscreen so you can see the real colour before deciding.
13Does window film block heat and UV?
Performance depends on the film selected. Our range includes options providing up to 86% combined heat rejection and up to 99% UV protection. We’ll explain the relevant performance figures in your quotation.
14Can factory-tinted rear glass be made darker?
Usually, yes. Factory privacy glass is coloured glass rather than removable window film. Suitable film can normally be added to rear glass for more privacy and additional performance; we’ll quote the correct option for your vehicle.
15Will window film affect phones, GPS or radio reception?
The non-metallised automotive films we use are designed not to interfere with embedded antennas, mobile-phone reception or GPS systems.
We measure the glass—not guess.

Lifetime film fade warranty plus three-year installation cover.
Fitting & aftercare
What happens in the workshop and after you leave.
16Do you remove the glass or interior door panels?
No. Our installation process does not require the glass or interior door panels to be removed.
17Will the film look perfect immediately after fitting?
Window film is installed using a wet application process. A little moisture, soft haze or small water pockets can be visible while it cures. This normally clears as the film dries, with curing time affected by temperature and weather. We explain the aftercare before you leave.
18How should I clean tinted windows?
Follow the aftercare advice supplied at your appointment. Once the film has cured, use a soft microfibre cloth and a tint-safe, ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads, blades and sharp objects near the film.
19Can you remove old or damaged window film?
After receiving your quote, please contact us if your windows have old film that needs removing so we can add the removal cost to your quote.
Warranty & practical details
Cover, payment, vehicle access and changes.
20What warranty do you provide?
The film has a lifetime warranty against fading. Our workmanship is also covered by a three-year installation warranty against faulty installation. Full terms are supplied with your invoice.
21How can I pay?
You can pay by card or cash on the day. A pay-monthly option may also be available and must be arranged before the appointment.
22Is there a vehicle height limit?
Yes. The workshop entrance is 2 metres high, so the vehicle must be under 2 metres including roof racks, awnings or other accessories.
23Do I need to prepare the car?
Please arrive with the vehicle reasonably clean, especially around the windows and door seals. This helps us maintain the cleanest possible working environment and finish.
24What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. Contact us as soon as you know you need to change the booking so the appointment can be offered to another customer.
Still have a question?
Tell us what you drive and what you would like to achieve. We’ll send the suitable tinting options for your vehicle, with clear prices and a link to live availability.
